In Celebration of Yom Ha’atzmaut
Spend Sunday, May 18, with Federation friends as we celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut, the day commemorating e Israel’s Independence.
The day’s events include:
•Lunch, served before the performance of:
•The award-winning singing ensemble SHIR Ba’Emek (check out this clip) from Afula-Gilboa, Israel, 12:00 PM.
Listen to the attached song (mp3), newly recorded ahead of their visit and become an instant fan!
Host a Singer!
Show our Israeli friends some Southcoast hospitality! Members of Shir Ba’emek need homes to stay in for the evening of May 18. If you are interested in hosting, please contact the Federation at firstname.lastname@example.org.
•Like every year on the final day of Hebrew School we will hold our annual BLOOD DRIVE.
Where has the year gone? I know. It’s only April. But the fiscal year ends June 30. If you have not contributed or pledged to our 2013-14 campaign, expect to hear from us by the end of the month with a renewed appeal for your support. With you, there is no Federation! And with no Federation, our community would be greatly diminished. Thank you in advance for your generous support.
