The Bulletin - A Community Update for June 23, 2016

Campaign Closing Ė If You Havenít Yet Ė Itís Time

With just about a week left before we close the annual 2015-16 campaign, Iíd like to remind readers that every gift counts!

If you have not yet contributed or made a pledge, I urge you to do so now.

Last year we supported many programs and initiatives, including: the Center for Jewish Life at UMass Dartmouth, the Haifa Rape Crisis Center in Afula, Israel, the Ziskind School at TI, overseas programming via Jewish Federations of North America, the Holocaust Center at Bristol Community College, the Beit Singer Animal-Assisted Therapy program for children in need near Afula, Israel, and more.

We brought strong programs to the greater New Bedford community featuring:

David Broza at the Whaling Museum

Israeli chefs Israel and Tamar for a cooking demonstration at Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech High School and a community dinner co-sponsored with Tifereth Israel Synagogue

Several programs created by the Federationís outstanding Holocaust committee.

Meals at Passover, education and engagement for seniors at Autumn Glenn, community health service via Coastline Elderly, along with college and travel scholarships

With a week left our campaign has yet to reach its target and that could mean less support for such programs next year.

You can make a difference.

Reply to this email TODAY with the amount of your pledge.

Please give generously and consider increasing you gift from last year.

Thank you.

Shabbat Shalom,
